Personal Training

I truly believe that fitness is for everyone. Not only is it good for one physically, but it also is important for mental health, confidence and feeling good. Everybody is different, and it is important that how you are getting fit corresponds with the stage of life that you are at now. I will also customize a workout that fits in with your lifestyle, injuries or health concerns that you might have.
My goal for all my clients is that you understand that there is no end goal! Fitness is about maintenance, and should be a core part of your life, just like eating, drinking, toileting etc, not a quick fix to a problem. My focus is always on creating a lifelong habit, that you enjoy and find value in.
Using my multidisciplinary training, I am sure that we can help you to get started on your fitness journey and bring out the athlete in you!
The Experience
Before we start working together, I will meet you for a base workout assessment and to discuss your fitness goals. Do you require rehab for injuries? What kind of space do you have to work out in?
After that, I will craft a plan for you. We will assess progress every 4 weeks and adjust accordingly. If you have access to a pool, then I potentially will include some time for sessions in the pool. Sometimes I might include sport massage as part of an all-rounded curriculum.
I will train you the way I train my fitness trainers, explaining each exercise to you and why the program is the way it is, so that you understand why we are doing them, what they are trying to achieve and how to do them safely and correctly. This will help you to work out effectively and hopefully keep you injury free.

Frequently Asked Questions
Training in water mitigates the effects of gravity on the body due to the buoyancy of water. This helps to make high intensity exercises safer and there is less impact on the joints. Water also provides resistance 360 degrees all around the body. Additional buoyancy or drag equipment assist to increase resistance. I like to do body weight training in the water, with additional resistance from dumbbells or other exercise equipment. Both land and water training builds cardiovascular, strength, flexibility and helps in fat burning.
Yes, you can. Do you have access to a pool we can train in?
Yes, I can. It is advisable to exercise after you have passed the first trimester and I require sign off from your Obgyn consent before we start the program.
Yes they can. Exercise is for any age! I am able to customise a program to suit their physical condition. For example, if they are unable to stand for a long period of time, we can start off with chair fitness exercises.
Yes I can! I can meet up with your parent and do a session and we’ll see how it goes from there.
You can if you have the means 😉
